Terms of Service
Last updated 29 June 2026. Draft pending AU lawyer review before public launch.
Who you're dealing with
Lil Banks is operated by Steve Winton (the Lil Banks business name registered with ASIC). Based in Melbourne, Australia.
What you're buying
A digital educational product (PDFs and online lessons) and access to a free pocket-money simulator app. None of it is financial product advice. None of it is a financial service. Lil Banks is not a bank, is not an Authorised Deposit-taking Institution, and is not licensed under an AFSL or ACL because it doesn't engage in any conduct that would require one.
Using the program content
When you buy a tier, you get a personal, non-transferable licence to read and use the content for your own household. Don't redistribute it, resell it, or share your download with people who haven't purchased their own copy. If you're a teacher, school or community group and want to use the content with a group, get in touch about a licensing arrangement.
Using the app
The Lil Banks app is provided as-is. It's a simulation — not a financial product. We don't hold any money. We don't process any transactions. The data your family enters into the app lives on your device. We aren't liable for data loss arising from device failure, browser storage clearing, or any other client-side cause.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights you have under Australian Consumer Law that cannot be lawfully excluded. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL.
Refunds
See the Refunds page for the full policy. Short version: 30-day refund on any paid tier, no questions.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
